Well furnished hotel. The room was spacious and had a great view of Michigan avenue and out to the lake.

Great location, very nice rooms.

You need to change elevators to reach the street/cab level.

Hotel met our expectations. They played an ear deafening action movie on both nights we were there (Sun & Mon) and kept the place so dark that our waitress had to bring a light to read the menu. We moved to the indoor bar and finished our food there. We mentioned this to the staff and were told that Sun & Mon nights were special action movie nights. Far from romantic for my wife and I who were celebrating a birthday.

Clean, comfort, friendly.

Terrace on 5th floor was not romantic but was dark and played loud movies on Sun & Mon.

The 311-room Conrad Chicago is located on Chicagos Magnificent Mile, just off Michigan Avenue, and provides luxury accommodation equally suited to the upmarket business or pleasure traveler. The hotel has easy access to The Shops at North Bridge shopping corridor and is adjacent to Nordstrom. The property is within walking distance of Lake Michigan, Millennium Park, Navy Pier, and The Art Institute of Chicago. Also nearby is the Loop, the city's historic business district, the Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium and Adler Planetarium. There are 13 meeting rooms available for business or social functions. The largest, the Magnolia Ballroom, can accommodate 320 guests. The hotel site was originally the McGraw-Hill Building, built in 1929 with exterior features sculpturing by Gwen Lux.

This is a superb hotel, with luxury rooms and incredible service. That is the opinion of most guests who have stayed here. Clients say the excellent facilities warrant the high prices charged. One minor item which pleased many was that Internet access was included in the room rate. Many luxury hotels made an additional charge. Despite the expense, many guests said they would return to this hotel and had no hesitation in recommending the property to others.
