The location of the Fairfield is terrific. I have stayed there when consulting with a doctor at Northwestern and for a leisure visit to Chicago.

The staff was very polite, the room was very clean and we could not have been happier with our stay.

I have no complaints.

The Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Chicago Downtown comprises 159 rooms and 26 suites affordably priced for both the business and leisure traveler. The 15-story, non-smoking hotel has one small meeting room for business or social functions that can accommodate 12 guests. Items included in the room rate are a breakfast buffet, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The property is within walking distance of downtown attractions including the Navy Pier, American Girl Place and the theater and museum districts. Other nearby landmarks include the John Hancock Building, Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cubs, McCormick Place, the Rosemont Theater, Brookfield Zoo and the Art Institute of Chicago. The Marovitze Golf Course is four miles from the hotel.

Many visitors to this inn say it offers the best value for money of any downtown Chicago hotel. The accommodations are spacious and clean and the employees are both efficient and friendly. The complimentary buffet breakfast an expensive extra in neighboring hotels got good reviews from many clients. The location is good, close to the citys Magnificent Mile, and the front desk has lots of information on the city sights.
