Originally built quite some time ago but modernized very nicely. A fun part of town with lots of restaurants within walking distance. The doormen and staff are very helpful for info about the area and in getting taxis.

Priced right in a friendly part of town.

No "el" to McCormick place. Had to use a bus or taxi.

It's pretty much was as expected. Nice location, fairly comfy bed, staff was alright. Nothing special but was a step up from your average cheap hotel.

Great location, in walking distance of many sites in north Chicago.

Bathroom was less than perfectly clean.

The staff was very helpful and kind. The room was very clean and what we expected. The bathroom was very large and had accommodations for those that might need more space. The only downfall was that is was a $20 cab ride (tip including) away from Union Station. Also, we were unsure how safe the area would be, so we chose not to go out near the hotel. Looking back (and having traveled to other places since), it was a safe area and there were lots of dining places near by. Also, the staff was very helpful in getting us Chicago Style pizza delivered. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.

It is not located in the center of the city attractions.

Consult any of the major US travel companies and you'll find the Days Inn Lincoln Park North comes highly recommended. The rooms are inviting, and the staff carries itself with respect. The atmosphere and location of the hotel lend it an edge over their competition, but the rooms are unique in themselves. Updated quarters boast luxury that isn't typically found in budget hotels. In the end, however, character wins over comfort. The charm of Lincoln Park is present from the front desk to room views of the eccentric neighborhood.
