Great location, easy access to public transit, reasonable, friendly staff, nice facilities, efficient check out.

Next to public transit, friendly, safe, clean, views, good concierge. Great pool.

Very close to Chicago theaters and nightlife. Clean, new, well kept up.

Doorman was very friendly and helpful. Great location, clean rooms.

Desk clerk was very unhelpful. Put us in a room someone else was in, then seemed angry to move us.

This hotel could not be easier to use in conjunction with public transportation. We became very comfortable with CTA's rail service, and having it stop right there at Merchandise Mart was like being dropped off at home. We were pleased with the straightforwardness of our room - clean and serviceable. I would have liked more channels on the television and a softer bed, but I wouldn't even consider those complaints. We did not use any of the hotel's services beyond our basic room (i.e. restaurants, room service, laundry, etc.).

Fast elevators; relatively quiet; super friendly staff; air conditioning unit.

Bed a bit too firm; lack of TV channel selection.

This is an excellent hotel in a great location next to the Merchandise Mart and enjoys great views over the river and the city. This is the view of several travelers to Chicago who have stayed at this Holiday Inn. Guests here were impressed by the high level of service from a friendly and efficient team of workers and had no problem recommending this property to others.
