Great location and helpful staff. The L is directly in front of the hotel, so you will want a room at the back so you won't hear the trains. Our room was very nice. We ate one meal at Ada's Famous Deli & Restaurant - food arrived cold and tasted like it came out of a can. Chicago valet is typically a 20 minutee wait and about $40. Silversmith Valet is no exception but they're exceptionally courteous.
Great location and nice, clean rooms.
The restaurant experience was bad.

We had a great time we went to the Taste of Chicago and it was 2 blocks away everyone was really nice and helpful.
I loved the location and the uniqueness.

Overall a good hotel for the price and location. Was a bit surprised by how load the skyway (Sky train) was. Did not expect for the noise to be as loud as it was. The room was very clean but updated decor and updated television would make these rooms excellent. Don't change the service! The staff was absolutely wonderful! Very friendly and very helpful.
Very clean. The staff was excellent, very friendly with excellent service. Loved the spacious bathrooms.
Rooms on the small side and decor could have been better (sleeping area). Would be great to have had flat screen TV's.

This hotel was the Crowne Plaza Chicago Silversmith. It got good reviews then and it continues to get them now as The Silversmith Hotel and Suites. Visitors to Chicago are impressed with the comfortable and quality accommodation and excellent service from a team of polite and professional workers. The location is excellent, close to theaters and restaurants, and most clients highly recommend this property to others.
