Great beds - posted on 01/20/2006

Their bed was actually more comfortable than mine. They have feather mattresses and you just sink into it. Best nights' sleep I've had in a long time.

great deal - posted on 05/16/2006

Great location, within 3 blocks of the heart of Mag. Mile, Riverboat tours, tons of restaurants, and House of Blues. Nicely furnished, clean room with sofa, comfy bed and big new TV. Service, from bellhops to frontdesk to housekeeping, was excellent, which was especially nice for a first-timer in the city! Only complaints were loud flushing toilet and AC that rattled. Sink area could be bigger.

Great value - posted on 05/01/2006

Look out for the special deal that includes tickets to the Field Museum for less than the normal room price! They didn't have our tickets and knocked an additional $50 per night off our room! Nice rooms and great location for restaurants, clubs, tourist sites, Michigan Ave. and the L.

Great Location for Shopping - posted on 12/08/2005

The hotel was significantly cheaper than the hotels on Michigan Ave and in a very convenient location. We were able to check in early. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Christmas Lights - posted on 11/30/2005

Great location for getting to the loop, Michigan Avenue, Milinum Park on foot. Tub did not drain, and the sound did not work on the TV properly.

Great value - posted on 08/03/2005

This hotel used to be a Fairfield Inn by Marriott (their lowest type of hotel), but it was so nice that they rebranded it as a Courtyard Inn. That says it all right there. I was surprised by how nice it was when I stayed. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable room convienent to Michigan Ave. then this is a top choice.

weekend stay - posted on 05/18/2005

My boyfriend and I got a room for a Sat. night. We were checked in at 2 pm quickly. Our room was large, nice bathroom... king bed.. desk and chair... Nice flat screen TV... good view of State St. Good location. Would stay here again. Oh, starbucks off the lobby. Nice bar/lounge if you would like a drink before hitting a club, Valet was 35 dollars a day, but they were quick and friendly!

Great Visit - posted on 05/06/2005

The location of the hotel and our room was exceptional. We were able to walk to most of the places we wanted to visit and Shaw's Crab House was right across the street from our hotel and the food there was extrodinary! Thank you for the nice room at a bargin! We will use your services again.

Disappointment - posted on 10/18/2004

My parents, who came all over from Japan, have stayed one night and had a terrible exprerience and my mother said they destroyed every beatuiful memories in Chicago. The manner of one bartender at hotel and the way he talked to my parent was impolite and total an acceptable. My mother asked him if they have a coffer, he pointed out side and said, using bad language, you could get it the convienient store out side the hotel even they have a coffer maker in the front. I was very regret that I made this hotel revervation for my parents. I never use this hotel any more.
