They let us check in at 9:30 AM. Upgrade to room w/ great view for reasonable price. Fast, efficient service. Perfect location for Michigan Ave shopping, Art Institute. Loved it.

Clean, friendly, helpful.

It was a very clean hotel, the niceness of the staff evened out and the eateries were ok. The view was awesome from our room, we could see straight to the Pier. Only exception was the parking and the fact that I was double charged for it.

There were plenty of places to eat in the hotel.

Confusing. When we first arrived to pay 50 a night for parking, there was no direction.

I would recommend the hotel nice location to the downtown area. I thought it was easy to check in and out and parking was very accessible.

I thought the check in was simple. I liked the convent parking and everyone was very nice, I also thought the hotel was very clean.

I would have liked a little more help from the concierge.

Hyatt Regency Chicago, just 1.5 miles from Union Station Amtrak, is connected to Illinois Center, which has several eateries, salons and shops. The hotel, a 20-minute drive from the Midway Airport, is minutes from beaches and lake. Wrigley Building, North Michigan Avenue/Magnificent Mile, Loop business and theater districts and State Street are within walking distance of the property. The hotel offers comfortably appointed accommodations, services of concierges and valets, ice machines, currency exchange facility and round the clock room service. Not one, not two, but six dining options are available within the hotel. The onsite full-service business center is equipped with all amenities required for an office. Visitors can also access wireless Internet from restaurants and lobby. Travelers need not miss their exercise regimen as onsite 24-hr fitness center features state-of-the-art machines.

This huge modern property in the center of the city provides a host of comforts for a pleasant stay. Most of the guests raved about decent size clean rooms with comfy beds, yummy breakfast, location and service. However, a few guests were disappointed with stuffy rooms, slow service, grubby bathrooms, cost of Internet and breakfast, and small closets.
