Location was fantastic - right on the Magnificent Mile, and two blocks away from the El. Although check-in was at 4 p.m., I got there at 10:30 a.m. and asked the bellman to hold my bags until the afternoon, but he encouraged me to try checking in. Front desk staff had no problems checking me in as long as a room was available. The lobby was tastefully decorated in a modern style, which gave a great first impression. The room was very comfortable, although a bit on the small side. Upon check-out, the bell desk was happy to hold the bags for a few hours. Because of the location the lobby will always be crowded, but the quality of the hotel, made it well worth it.

Staff was incredibly accommodating of early check-in and late check-out.

The Marriot was a great hotel overall. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was clean, well kept, and the view of Chicago was amazing. The only downside was the parking. It was difficult to find the valet parking because it is located behind the hotel on a one way street. Otherwise this hotel was terrific and I certainly enjoyed my stay.

The staff was very friendly and helpful especially the concierge.

The bathroom was too small.

Many clients rate this Marriott as magnificent on Chicagos Magnificent Mile. There are many good reviews about the up-dated, modern accommodation with flat-screen televisions, and excellent service from a crew of well-trained professionals. Business clients said the lobby lounge with dozens of different beers and six large screen televisions was a great place to relax after work. Most customers said they would stay here again and had no hesitation in recommending the property to others. Tip from previous visitors: If you are a light sleeper, get a room on the highest possible floor to be away from the city noise.
