The Marriott Chicago O’Hare comprises 681 rooms and 22 suites and is two miles from the busy O'Hare International Airport and 15 miles from downtown Chicago. The non-smoking, 12-story hotel operates a courtesy shuttle to and from the airport terminals. The property caters for business travelers and conventions but has facilities suited to the leisure traveler. The hotel has 35 meetings rooms for business and social functions. The largest can accommodate up to 1,200 guests. The property has easy access to Chicago’s EL-train and is two miles from the Donald E Stephens Convention Center. The hotel is within easy driving distance of seven golf courses, the Brookfield Zoo and U.S. Cellular Field, home of the White Sox.

Several former clients said they thought the prices here high but had to admit this Marriott was convenient for the airport. Guests who wanted to visit Chicago said the hotel was not convenient to get to downtown, even using the El train system. Conventioneers said the handling of meetings and conferences was very professional and well organized. All guest rooms have a work area with high-speed Internet access at a daily charge of $12.95, cable television with movie channels and pay-per-view movies. Other amenities include a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, wet bar, tea and coffee making facilities and IDD telephones with voice mail. There is no charge for local calls.

The hotel’s Harvest Grill is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the Firehouse Tavern serves dinner. The Champions Sports Bar serves lighter fare and has large screen TVs for sporting events. Room service is available from 6.30am until midnight. There is an indoor/outdoor swimming pool, hot tub and fitness center. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes and information on area events and attractions. The coin-operated laundry is available at all times and there is a full service business center.
