Nice little hotel - posted on 02/16/2007

The Willows Hotel reminds one of a hotel in the UK, a nice change from the run of the mill chain hotel. Small, with a friendly staff, continental breakfast, and coffee/tea in the lounge 24 hours. Excellent choice if you're going to be on the North Side in the Lincoln Park area.

Wonderful Hotel - posted on 04/12/2006

I would recommend the Willows hotel to anyone I know. The customer service was outstanding. We are from out of town and check in is technically at 3pm. We called to see if we could get in around 11am and they were very accomodating. I love the old style elevator! And the rooms were great. Five stars!!

Willows - posted on 03/27/2006

I stayed at the Willows while I was looking for housing in the Lincoln Park area. It is an extremely quaint hotel. It's older but very elegant. The rooms are clean, nice and quiet. Now that I've lived in Chicago for almost a year, I recommend this hotel to all out of town guests. It's great deal for Chicago, if you're wanting to be north of downtown.

Comfortable - posted on 10/12/2005

Very nice hotel. A little confusing as far as parking. Nice comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Located in the "Boys Town Area," of Chicago. Nice place for singles and couples, but not family. Continental breakfast provided. Better than any downtown hotel. Easily accessible to Lakeshore Dr. and public transportation.

Nice quaint hotel. Never quite understood the parking situation though. Ended up parking down the street at another garage. Nice breakfast ! Very nice and knowledgeable staff too -

Nice local hotel - posted on 05/26/2005

We got to Chicago (via Amtrak) about 10:00 am. The Willows was our first stop because we wanted to drop off our luggage, but we knew check-in wasn't until 3:00 pm. The staff was kind enough to allow us to store our stuff in their office until we returned later in the evening. They were knowledgable of the area, courteous and helpful. The room was not spectacular, but it was clean and comfortable. I would not hesitate to stay here again, but we just wanted a place to sleep, and the Willows comfortably filled the bill.

A great stay! - posted on 05/08/2005

My boyfriend surprised me with a weekend away, and we had an amazing time at the Willows! I would recommend it to anyone looking for a small quiet place with great access to restaurants and stuff. Hopefully we will be back!

Decent rooms, nice staff - posted on 11/24/2004

You get what you pay for.The rooms were sufficient and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is in an interesting area (Lincoln Park) and is 4 miles from downtown. If you want luxury you won't find it here, but it was comfortable and the continental breakfast was a nice addition.

My Fave Hotel In Chicago - posted on 11/10/2004

Have stayed here many times. I love the quiet elegance of it, very friendly staff, and quaintness. It beats a chain hotel hands down, and the funky neighboorhood is great!
