This was a great hotel for our women's weekend. The Gold Coast area is a good/safe place to be and the walk for shopping and eating is easy.The style was so fun and upbeat. Colors were bright and cheerful. Everything was new. Bathrooms are a little tight, but that can't be helped. I'd definitely recommend it.

Older building, recently updated using high quality materials throughout. Funky color scheme, attentive staff, good location. Pricy, like everything in that area.

The decor in this hotel was fantastic! It's not you average, run-of-the-mill place to stay! It has a very calm feel with wonderful accents everywhere! The service was exceptional with very friendly and helpful staff! Only thing about this hotel I didn't like was the room size. The queen bed room was a bit small, but the decor was still fantastic, with a wonderful spa like bathroom with Aveda products! The restaurant's food was pretty good and again the staff were great!!!

Pros: Delightfully appointed in a perfect and vibrant location. Decor is bright, unusual, and fun. Rooms are adequately appointed and comfortable. The hotel is a short 1 block from the Red Line. Reasonably priced for location. Cons: Very small rooms. Hallway noise easily heard. Bed/mattress not great.

You forget that you're in an older hotel because decor and color scheme is cheery, like being at the beach. The room design and layout is comfortable. Hotel location is great. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Convenient parking, although pricey like all in the area. Nice, quick and convenient breakfast, but not included. I will come back.

Outstanding service, very professional and friendly staff. Decor is awesome and the rooms were not at all like the typical hotel room, was more like a resort. Great location for both business and leisure travel. We spent 5 nights there...simply the best!

I loved the "facelift" Im a business traveller and I definetely felt like home. Secure and lovely neighbourhood, walking distance to Michigan Avenue and restaurants nearby. Make sure your room is not across from the elevator!

Hotel Indigo's complete renovation was exciting--decorating based on Da Vinci's sea shell is refreshing and exciting. Room is clean, cheery with a seaside cottage motif; all the staff very friendly; plus: able to take car in and out of garage without additional charges. Location great--enjoyed the farmer's market outside our door Saturday. Lobby was very cozy--able to accommadate any size group--causual seating, "living room style" seating and "dining room style" seating.
