After a long flight to Lihue, it was a convenient location for a quick rest before moving on to our planned vacation on the west side of the island. The gym was very nice along with the restaurant. The pools were clean as was the room. I would stay there again without hesitation. Great place for the family with kids who like the water because the water slide and beach pool was perfect for the little ones. Staff was excellent.
Clean friendly and the price was right. Restaurant was excellent.
Some of the outdoor furniture was dirty with worn cushions.

Very friendly staff; nice for a small resort, but not a place I would want go if I were just hanging out all day. A great base for island sightseeing. Nice pools, and surfers on the beach. Jogging trail on site and good exercise room/spa. Nice bar with nightly entertainment. Even the Hyatt does not have a swimming beach.
Nice--good value.
Refurbishing not finished; not a swimming beach.

The Hilton was clean, quiet, well run, with an extremely pleasant staff. I would not hesitate to recommend it.
The Hilton Kauai Beach Resort sits oceanfront on beautifully landscaped acres of Kauai's longest beach. Couples in the mood for romance will enjoy strolling on the beach. The hotel appears to be secluded on it's own piece of property. The hotel is conveniently located only 5 minutes from the Lihue Airport. A complimentary shuttle is available. Guests to the hotel will be treated to Hawaiian hospitalilty. From the moment one arrives at the hotel they will find themselves in an oasis of tranquility and relaxation. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with cascading waterfalls and exotic lagoons amongst a backdrop of tropical foilage. The hotel boasts Naupaka Terrace, an open air restaurant where guests can enjoy breakfast or dinner while overlooking Koi ponds and waterfalls. A poolside bar is always an ideal place to get a drink or light meal. There are two bars, one with nightly entertainment. Off course no trip to Hawaii is complete without the nightly torch-lighting ceremony that always happens to coincide with sunset, followed by traditional Hawaiian and Polynesian dancers.
