Chain: Hyatt Hotels and Resorts
Surrounded by beautiful landscaping that spreads out over 40 acres, the Hyatt Regency Maui is a stunning resort filled with tropical sights, sounds and scents. Wander down the manicured pathways and you’ll come across beautiful waterfalls and gardens. Its outdoor pool is also a real treat, especially with the 150-foot slide, but you are also only steps away from the lovely Kaanapali Beach. Enjoy all six of the restaurants as well as the Drums of the Pacific Luau and the hula and torch lighting event that occurs each night. Keep your eyes open for the pink flamingos and penguins that call this paradise home.
Does HotelsByCity recommend this hotel?
The Hyatt Regency Maui received excellent reviews. Whether travelers were praising the hotel property or the well-trained and friendly staff, they enjoyed their stay immensely. The rooms were also well kept and well appointed. An issue raised though was its beach. The one located directly in front of the hotel wasn’t that great for swimming or snorkeling. However, there were lovely beach spots located about a fifteen-minute walk away. Read our customer reviews?
Step out onto your private balcony and take in the great views of the mountains or the ocean. Enjoy your in-room coffee maker or order up some room service, which is available 24 hours a day. Other room features include a hair dryer, work desk, Internet access, TV and mini bar.
Relax at Spa Moana and gaze out on the ocean. The kids will enjoy the Camp Hyatt children’s program and the pool created especially for them. There are two additional pools, which are a lot of fun as is the underwater cave and Grotto Bar. Of course, the beach is just steps away as well. Let the hotel organize an exciting scuba or kayaking trek or a number of other sightseeing tours. The Drums of the Pacific show is quite a treat and worth seeing at least once. Some of the onsite restaurants include the Swan Court, Cascades Grill and Sushi Bar and the Pavilion.
