Directly on a gorgeous beach just down the road from the hotel of "Blue Hawaii" fame. Grocery store and drug store within walking distance. Smallish pool, but with this beach, who cares! Sliding glass door opening onto a nice little balcony. Very clean room with new furnishings and fridge. The room was every bit as nice as the "resort" level hotels I had and about half the price. Resort Fee included parking, coffee and Wi-fi and restaurant discount. Down side - tiny bathroom and no room service.

Gorgeous beach, Wi-fi, very friendly restaurant staff.

Loud bar music fortunately over at 10pm.

It was a very nice place to stay. The decor was lovely and the bed was comfortable. The service was also very nice. The only complaint I have is the smell in the room. The AC also didn't really work very well. It finally shut down altogether and we had a tech come fix it. He showed up very quickly, which was impressive. I also thought that for a resort they definitely needed a larger hot tub.

Very good accommodations to include a bar/lounge with live island music every night. On the beach and close to many restaurants if you don't want to eat in the hotel restaurant or lounge.

Courtyard Kauai at Waipouli Beach Resort is located on a beautiful secluded sandy beach amongst an old historic coconut grove. The hotel is a 15 minute drive from Lihue Airport. This recently renovated hotel has over 300 deluxe rooms. The hotel offers traditional Hawaiian hospitality with a Polynesian luau, where guests can enjoy live entertainment and traditional food. Guests will find the hotel is within walking distance to three shopping villages including the Coconut Marketplace with its plantation style kiosks and centrally located to the island's attractions and sites. Guests will enjoy relaxing by the pool or playing tennis on the hotel courts. The hotel has a full service restaurant and cocktail lounge. Rooms are available for weddings and business functions. The hotel can also arrange tropical outdoor weddings.

The hotel front desk is open 24 hours for guest needs. There is a business center. Guests have access to a fitness center and an oceanview freshwater pool and a whirlpool spa, along with three tennis courts. A reasonably priced buffet breakfast is a wonderful way to start the day. Benches along the beach are popular spots for sunset-watching and seasonal whale-watching. A walking/jogging path runs parallel to the beach, although the beach is not a recommended swimming beach due to unpredictable currents. Other on-site amenities include a pool with ocean views and a surrounding sundeck with spa tub.

This four story hotel has 311 air conditioned guest rooms decorated in Balinese and Indonesian decor. All guest rooms feature cable television with pay for view movies and complimentary high speed internet. Coffee and tea making facilities are in each room, along with a hairdryer, iron and ironing board and in-room safe. For guests that need to work the room has a large well-lit work desk with ergonomic chair, two dataport telephones with voicemail and a comfortable sitting area. Benches along the beach are a popular place to enjoy a drink and watch the sunset. A walking/jogging path runs parallel to the beach. The beach here is not recommended for swimming due to unpredictable currents. However the pool has ocean views and a sundeck.

This is a good hotel for your money. However if you want a hotel with beach access this is not the hotel. While the beach is beautiful to look at and there is a lovely path that strolls along the beach-this is not a beach for swimming or relaxing on. The currents are too unpredictable and dangerous. Most guests stated that the rooms were clean and comfortable. They said the pool was quite nice as an alternative to the beach.
