As a budget hotel in Hawaii, the Aqua Bamboo goes beyond the basics. Guests were pleasantly surprised by the spacious rooms and friendly staff, as well as the hotel's proximity to the beach and other attractions. * Exit at Nimitz Hwy, which becomes Ala Moana Blvd. in downtown Honolulu
* When the road ends in Waikiki, turn right onto Kalakaua Ave.
