About the Halekulani Hotel Honolulu

The Halekulani is the premiere hotel in Waikiki and one of the originals. It first started as a series of low rise cottages located along the beach. Today, the Halekulani has matured into a modern, luxury resort that manages to maintain its ambiance of casual beach living.

Halekulani Hotel Honolulu Accommodations

Everything about the Halekulani stresses top quality from the luxurious beds to the separate glassed-in shower and deep soaking tub to the marble vanities.

Downtown and Waikiki are to your right as you exit the baggage area at the airport. Your car rental people will give you maps and directions, but simply exit the airport at the ground level drive out to Nimitz Blvd, under the freeway and keep to your right.
Stay on Nimitz to downtown Honolulu. You'll see the harbor on your right. Nimitz will become Ala Moana Blvd, but keep straight ahead till you pass a small boat harbor and Ala Moana Park. You'll cross the Alawai Canal and enter Waikiki.
In a couple of blocks, Ala Moana Blvd will take a bend to the left and a couple of more blocks intersects Kapiolani Blvd. Turn right, go 4 blocks, two blocks past the grassy area on your right, and turn right.
Drive till the road ends and you will be at Kalia Rd. The entrance to the Halekulani is a half block to your right on your left.
