This hotel was rated a 3 star in Honolulu there really are not many 3 star hotels they are old but they did a good job of keeping it as clean and updated as possible. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Staff was very friendly and kept rooms clean.

It is an old hotel not what I think of for a 3 star hotel.

Aqua Aloha Surf & Spa Hotel, a boutique property, is about fifteen kilometers from Honolulu International Airport. Waikiki Beach, International Marketplace, Royal Hawaiian Center for dining, entertainment and shopping, Waikiki Beachwalk dining and shopping venues and Luxury Row are within easy walking distance of the Aqua. Open-air lobby features surfer classics films. Accommodations command spectacular views of Ala Wai Golf Course and the Koolau Mountain. The hotel serves free breakfast daily and beverages on Tuesday evenings. Guests can take advantage of free internet. A sparkling pool with a sundeck, spa facilities and cabanas are on the property for added comfort.

Each of 202 guestrooms features ocean-inspired décor with surfing theme, a coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave, in-room safe, 20-inch LCD television and toiletries. Cribs and rollaway beds are available for nominal fee upon request.

Conveniently located, the Aqua boasts a complete range of modern amenities for the convenience of the guests. Most of the visitors appreciated clean good-sized rooms, comfortable spacious beds, comped breakfast and evening reception, attractive pool and lobby, affable and helpful staff and proximity to the beach and other local attractions. The hotel offered good value for the money spent. However, some guests were disappointed with small tired rooms, high parking fee, substandard breakfast and noise.
