the first room smelled like pee and had bed bugs, so the next day I changed my room.the second room that they gave me was much batter. the location is 1/2 a block from the waikiki beach and the main strip. it was a good price for the location. I would go back if i dont get the room that has bed bugs or smells like pee

Very good location. Staff worked to upgrade our room, since default was two twins, not a queen. Paid parking lot around the corner. Market with food a hundred feet away. Small rooms, but good enough if you only plan on sleeping there. A bit older, with expected look and feel, but not run down.

Very good location. Basic comforts met.

No ironing board/iron in room. No parking at hotel, but garage around the corner.

The Ocean Resort Hotel Waikiki, a 100% smoke free property, is a 30-minute drive from Honolulu International Airport. The hotel is a short walk away from Waikiki beaches, Honolulu Zoo, Waikiki Aquarium, Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center, Kapiolani Park and International Marketplace. A coin-operated laundry, gift shop, sundry store, travel desk and an automated teller machine (ATM) are within the hotel premises for added comfort. An open-air lobby features fee-based high-speed wireless internet connectivity and an internet kiosk. The Ocean offers beach towels and daily maid service. Beverage, ice and snack vending machines and in-room safes are a big plus.

The resort hotel boasts 450 guestrooms, including studios and suites. Some rooms offer views of the city or the Pacific Ocean. All accommodations feature air conditioning units and private lanais. Guests can lounge around the swimming pools and / or soak up the sun at the sundeck located on the third floor. Ocean Seafood & Steak remains open for all three meals. The 2-towered hotel provides thoughtful amenities for the convenience and comfort of corporate travelers, couples and families. Many guests liked clean affordable rooms, comfortable beds, balconies, laundry, food at the restaurant, friendly staff and proximity to the beach and eateries. However, some visitors were disappointed with worn-out carpets, old smelly dirty rooms, bedbugs, noisy air conditioners and poor customer service.
