The Hyatt Regency Waikiki Resort and Spa has all the facilities for a fantastic Hawaiian vacation. . The resort has live entertainment throughout the day. Should you tire of all the activities available at the hotel the Honolulu Zoo and the Waikiki Aquarium are nearby and the 24-hour front desk can arrange tours to all parts of the island. Frequent visitors to Honolulu say this is the best place to stay. The ocean views from the property and excellent facilities are well worth the money. Those who have stayed in hotels a few blocks back from the beach say the savings are not worth it. The Hyatt is steps away from the beach and there is shopping at the resort and nearby. The hotel gets good comments from older couples, honeymooners and families. Previous guests here say there is always something going on at the resort to keep you entertained. All rooms have either balconies or patios and come with a choice of one king or two double beds and a fully equipped bathroom with hairdryer. The amenities include work area with Internet access, cable TV with pay-per-view movies, IDD telephone with voicemail, electronic door lock, minibar, iron and ironing board and an in-room safe large enough to store and charge a laptop.
The Na Ho ’ola Spa, the largest in Waikiki, has 19 treatment rooms, dry sauna, fitness and exercise area, steam showers and massage rooms for couples. The hotel’s swimming pool, two heated whirlpools and sundeck overlook Waikiki Beach. There are 60 boutiques on site and daily live Hawaiian entertainment. There is a Camp Hyatt for younger members of the family. Dining options include Ciao Mein offering Italian-Chinese cuisine, The Colony for steak and seafood and the Japanese Musashi restaurant. There is a coffee shop, ice machines throughout the property, a doctor’s office and bank. The front desk can arrange for baby sitters, currency exchange car rentals and tee times at nearby golf courses.
From Honolulu International Airport (8 1/2 miles): Follow Honolulu/Waikiki signs east on Nimitz Hwy. (becomes Ala Moana Blvd. downtown). Exit at Kalakaua Ave. Proceed to Ka'i'ulani Ave. and turn left. Turn right at Koa Ave. (at King's Village). Proceed to Uluniu Ave. Turn right to hotel's main entrance.
