The 1,310 room Marriott Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa provides luxury accommodation equally suited to the upmarket business or leisure traveler. The 33-story, non-smoking resort is across the street from the Pacific Ocean and is located on 5.2 acres of tropical gardens. There are 11 meeting rooms available for business or social functions. The largest can accommodate 900 guests. The hotel is next to the Diamond Head Crater and within easy driving distance of six golf courses. Other area landmarks and attractions include the Honolulu Zoo, Waikiki Aquarium, Kapiolani Park, the USS Arizona Memorial, Pali Lookout, the Polynesian Cultural Center, Sea Life Park and the Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park.

Visitors to Honolulu loved this Marriott. The rooms were luxurious with spectacular views. The employees made every effort to insure all guests had a wonderful time and the location could not have been better – just steps away from the world-famous Waikiki Beach. The only downside – is the upmarket prices. Despite this, the majority of clients say they cannot wait to return to this super hotel and plan to recommend the property to their family and friends. Marriott Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa Accommodations

The guestrooms enjoy views of the ocean, mountains and Diamond Head. The amenities include a well-lit work desk with high-speed Internet access, Internet browser television with cable movie and news channels, pay-per-view movies, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, pullout-sofa bed, iron and ironing board, bathrobes, hairdryer and telephone with voicemail. The bathrooms have a separate shower and tub.

Amenities offered

This hotel has two swimming pools, whirlpools and a fitness center. There are six restaurants on-site and dozens within walking distance. Room service operates from 6am until 11pm. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes, can arrange for babysitters and handles currency exchange. Other amenities include a concierge desk, full service business center, a coin-operated laundry, valet dry-cleaning, an ATM, beauty salon and barber’s shop and a gift shop and newsstand.

From Honolulu Airport (HNL) 10 miles: Take H-1 East to Honolulu (approximately 10 miles). Exit at King Street off ramp (25A). Turn right onto Kapahulu Avenue. Continue for two miles, turn right on Kuhio Avenue. At second traffic light, turn left on Ohua Avenue. The hotel entrance is located on the left.
