The 117-room Holiday Inn Express Atlanta/Vinings is eight miles northwest of downtown Atlanta and provides affordable quality accommodation for both families on vacation and the business traveler. Items included with the room rate at this five-story hotel are a hot breakfast buffet served between 6.30am and 9.30am, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, in-room coffee and parking. There are two meeting rooms available for social or business functions. The larger can accommodate 225 guests. The hotel is a short drive from a Six Flags theme park, White Water, Turner Field home of the Atlanta Braves, the Georgia Dome home of the Atlanta Falcons, The Georgia World Congress Center, the Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola and Underground Atlanta with its myriad of bars, restaurants and shops. The property is three miles from Cobb Galleria Convention Center and the upmarket Cumberland Mall

The good location of this hotel, close to Interstate 285, makes it an ideal base for visiting downtown Atlanta and its suburbs. The rooms here are not as well equipped as some HIEs but they are spotlessly clean and reasonably priced. Many families here for sightseeing said the outdoor pool was a great place to relax after a day of touring. Most clients were impressed with the hot breakfast buffet. Words of warning from those who have stayed here: If you plan to visit downtown Atlanta leave before 7am or wait until 9.30am when the traffic is a little lighter and faster.
