Overall the hotel was nice since we were meeting friends at the hotel. It was nice to have the comfortable seating area in the lobby where we could talk and relax. If you are looking for a nice pool or hot tub this is not the hotel for you.

The hotel had a nice seating area in the lobby to visit with friends.

The breakfast could have used more variety.

This hotel was convenient to the Historic District. My room was spacious, clean and the bed was comfortable. I was a solo female traveler and I felt very safe walking back to my hotel at night alone. Staff was very pleasant, always had a warm greeting for you. I'd definitely stay here again. I didn't like the surprise self-parking charge, as they didn't tell you beforehand; but when I complained they nicely removed the charge from my bill.

Comfortable bed and pillows/sheets were soft.

Self parking charge was added on the last day, not told about it beforehand. I complained. They canceled and did not charge. Add-on charges are a no-no.

This hotel was well kept with a friendly staff overall. The location was perfect and convenient to the trolleys. We would choose it again.

Appearance of hotel was very good as was location.

Yes, I would recommend the Hampton Inn & Suites to my family and friends. This is a nice hotel and is located in the downtown area. The staff is friendly and gives wonderful service. The complimentary breakfast is very good and there are many food choices. The guest rooms are nice. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. There are many amenities including a refrigerator, microwave and flat screen television. There's a nice lobby with computers and printers. You can enjoy a roof top pool where you can see a beautiful view. This hotel is convenient to shopping, restaurants and attractions.
