The 79 all-suites Springhill Suites by Marriott Savannah/Midtown is within walking distance of shops and restaurants and provides affordable accommodation for both the business and leisure traveler. The suites offer the choice of one king-size or two double beds and have separate sleeping, eating and working areas. Items included with the room rate are a hot breakfast buffet, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, parking, a morning newspaper and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. There is one room available for social or business functions that can accommodate 18 guests. Nearby attractions and landmarks include four golf courses, the historical downtown area, the Chatham County Aquatic Center, the Mighty Eighth Air Museum and Daffin Park, home of Savannah Sandgnats Baseball.

All the suites have a pantry area, mini-refrigerator, microwave oven and a wet bar. Other features are a work desk with ergonomic chair and high-speed Internet access, two-line telephone with voicemail and data port, VCR player, cable television with news and movie channels, pullout sofa bed, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board and a hairdryer.

This hotel has an indoor swimming pool, whirlpool and a fitness center. The complimentary breakfast is the only meal served here but there are several restaurants nearby including an Applebees, Olive Garden, Logan’s Roadhouse and an Outback Steakhouse. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes, information on area events and attractions, a list of restaurants that will deliver to the hotel.
