Step back into the glory of the Old South with a stay at The Marshall House Hotel. Opened in 1851 as Savannah’s first hotel, The Marshall House underwent a $12 million renovation, completed in 2001, to restore its historical elements and add modern amenities. The hotel’s original wood floors, staircases, fireplaces and guest room doors create a sensation of what was. Yet, access to a well-equipped business center and high-tech audio/visual equipment in meeting rooms keep travelers connected to the 21st century. Located in the heart of Savannah’s historic district, the hotel is adjacent to bustling, shop-filled River Street.

The squares of Savannah, River Street, the City Market, restaurants and nightlife are all within walking distance.
