It was great. Staff was so helpful with suggestions directions etc. Room and hotel were in beautiful condition. Owners and staff should be very proud of this hotel. The breakfast was great. Everything I would be looking for.

The pet-friendly Residence Inn by Marriott Savannah Midtown has 66 spacious suites with separate living and sleeping areas designed for the business traveler or families on vacation. The three-story, non-smoking property is within easy driving distance of Savannahs historic downtown area, the City Market, Oglethorpe Mall, Savannah Mall, Tybee Island and St. Simons and Jekyll Islands. Items included with the room rate are a hot breakfast buffet in the propertys Gatehouse, evening socials Monday through Thursday, high-speed Internet access, parking, local telephone calls and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The hotel has one small meeting room available for business or social functions. The property is close to two golf courses, the Savannah Harley Museum, and the Telfair Museum of Arts.

Great rates, a friendly and efficient staff and comfortable clean accommodation: These are the reasons that many guests return to this hotel. The property is not in one of Savannas best neighborhoods but it is a only a short drive to the historic area or the attractions of Jekyll or St Simons Islands. Several guests return to this inn annually for the St Patricks Day celebrations, which are spectacular. The indoor pool is a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing or shopping.
