Hyatt is located right in the middle of the action. However, they are refurbishing the hotel and that's okay if you don't mind walking around workmen painting, laying carpeting or cementing tiles. If you want to stay here, I would suggest you wait till the renovation is completed.

Lovely place. Nice staff.

There are better bargains in Savannah than the Hyatt Regency. You will be charged for internet access, where other hotels give it free.

I would stay there again but I won't bring my boat.

Location.

No parking. Had a major ordeal with parking my boat. Had to park across the river. Not convenient.

One of Hyatt Regency Savannah hotel s biggest feature is its location on the Savanah River and within the citys hotel district. You can drop by the Historic District Windows whish features wide views of the river and features classic American dining. The hotels broad atrium lobby offers plenty of lounging space, great for getting together with friends. Youre free to dive into the hotels heated indoor pool or take the elevator up to the sundeck and catch some rays. If thinking in some exercise outdoors, stop by the tennis courts or try your luck at the golf courses very near the hotel. The great beaches feature great opportunities for swimming and deep fish fishing.

The hotel has very good upkeep and is staffed by very friendly and customer focused people. The rooms are clean, but fairly plain and may be a bit musty, something you find in humid areas lik Savannah. The bathrooms are pretty small. Tables at breakfast are not clean.
