The Fairfield Inn by Marriott Savannah Midtown is a beautiful hotel that is entirely smoke free and conveniently located near regional airports, local businesses and historic attractions. This Savannah, Georgia hotel is the perfect place to stay while visiting the River Street area, Waterfront, City Market, Tybee Island Beach, Ships of the Sea Museum, Old Fort Jackson, Telfair Museum of Art, King-Tisdell Cottage, Juliette Gordon Low House, Savannah College of Art and Design and the Savannah Aquatic Center. Don't forget the Golf Clubs, this hotel is close enough to enjoy the Bacon Park Golf Course, Henderson Golf, Southbridge, the Crosswinds and the Georgian Resort. There are also plenty of other local recreation opportunities, like court sports, horseback riding, hiking and bicycle trails. No matter what brings you to Savannah, the Fairfield Inn is a great place to stay.

The recent reviews from visitors to the Fairfield Inn by Marriott Savannah Midtown have been positive, but older reviews are just horrible. Everything from dirty rooms and beds to broken things to rude employees. It appears that they've had a remodel and were brought up to Marriott standards in the past 2 years, and most of the reviews since then have been positive. Personally, I'd stay there- it looks like things are OK now but I don't know if I'd send my Grandma there. Buyer beware, and enjoy your trip to Savannah, Georgia no matter where you stay.
