The Inn at Ellis Square is housed in a building that dates back to 1851. After undergoing renovations it stands today as a good option for guests staying in Savannah and is part of the Days Inn hotel chain. Take a short walk and you’re at River Street, which is filled with quaint boutiques, restaurants and art galleries. River Street is also a great place to watch the boats come and go.

Its location makes it easy for you to discover the town, much of which can be reached by foot. There were some hit and misses with the staff’s helpfulness as well as the water temperature when taking a shower. Each room is non-smoking and they have recently undergone renovations. Choose from two double beds or one king-size bed. Need more room? Book a suite and enjoy the living room. From the west:
Traveling east on I-16, take the ML King Jr. Boulevard exit (#167A). Travel .1 miles and turn left onto ML King Jr. Boulevard. Travel .7 miles and turn right onto W Bay Street. Look for the Inn at Ellis Square at 201 W Bay Street.

From the south:
