I believe it was rated well (No. of stars) and we got a great price, relatively quickly. Pool was nice but constantly overrun by children not supervised by their parents. For the most part, the hotel was quiet after dark but we had an "episode" each evening when a car playing loud Rap music would arrive and stay about 10-15 minutes just befor bed (about 10:30 - 11:00 pm). Luckily they stopped before it was necessary to call the front desk.
Great location and awesome price!!!!!
Complimentary breakfast was a joke.

Wow! A very nice experience. The breakfast was really nice--bagels, rolls, Donuts, fruit, eggs, yogurt, and even waffles that were made by the diner! Coffee always available in lobby. We were automatically placed in a smoking room, and I had to request non-smoking. I think that preference should be noted on the reservation form.
Great continental breakfast! Staff friendly. Bathroom nice.
Had to request a change to non smoking, though staff very accommodating.

The hotel was great for my family. We had my mother-in-law with us so it was convenient to have ground floor rooms. It was close to the restaurants we wanted to visit & close to historic savannah.
The hotel was close to the attractions in the city.
I prefer rooms that open from the inside of the building.

This is not the most popular hotel in downtown Savannah but we do allow this La Quinta the YES rating because several visitors to this historic city had an enjoyable stay saying the property was ideal for a short time and the rates were among the lowest in the area. The employees were helpful and friendly. Other clients said that housekeeping could have done a better job and those unhappy guests will stay elsewhere on future visits to Georgia’s oldest city. .
