This hotel lived up to the courtyard quality that I?ve come to expect over the years. The location was convenient to where I had to be, but was a little awkward to get to and from carter boulevard, especially if approaching from the south. We also chose not to purchase the 99 breakfast buffet and instead went to the Denny?s around the corner. My biggest complaint was that we weren't able to control the room's temperature since it's controlled remotely. But all in all, it was a clean room with free high speed internet, and it was a pleasant stay.

Didn't like not having access to the room's temperature controls (they were controlled remotely). I think ours wasn't operating properly.

My family and I loved the comfortable beds; from mattresses to linens. The staff was all very helpful and very friendly.

Pillows and sheets were the best Ive ever used.

No continental breakfast. That would have made it perfect.

The 110-room Courtyard by Marriott Atlanta Norcross/Interstate 85 is located 15 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta and provides reasonably priced accommodation for the business traveler but equally suited to families on vacation. The two-story, non-smoking hotel has two meeting rooms that can accommodate 50 guests. Items included with the room rate are high-speed Internet access, a morning newspaper, parking, local telephone calls and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The hotel is close to I-85 making it an easy drive to downtown Atlanta with its numerous attractions including the new Georgia Aquarium, Underground Atlanta known for its variety of shops, restaurants and bars, the Georgia Dome, home of the Atlanta Falcons and Turner Field, home of the Atlanta Braves. Other landmarks and attractions include Stone Mountain, the Six Flags Over Georgia theme park and shopping at Discover Mills Outlet Mall and Gwinnett Place Mall.

Frequent visitors to Courtyards said that the rooms and bathrooms here were larger than most Courtyards. There were good reviews about the employees who were efficient and friendly. Many guests liked the 24-hour on-site The Market, which had a good range of snacks and beverages. Words of advice from families touring the area: The weekend rates are substantially lower than during the week. This is when the business clients the hotels main source of income - are at home.
