The 84-room Holiday Inn Express McDonough is located off I-75 south of Atlanta and provides affordable quality accommodation for both the business traveler and families on vacation. Items included with the room rate at this four-story hotel are a hot breakfast buffet, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, in-room tea and coffee and parking. There are two meeting rooms available for business or social functions. The larger can accommodate 50 guests. Corporate offices close to the hotel include Norfolk Southern Railroad, Snapper, Luxxotica, and Millard. The property is a seven-minute drive from the Atlanta Motor Speedway, home of NASCAR, and 25 minutes from downtown Atlanta.

This suburban Atlanta hotel gets good reviews for its modern, spacious and well equipped rooms and a team of youthful employees that is both efficient and friendly. Several clients noted that this Holiday Inn Express is on the less expensive southern side of Atlanta and similar accommodation either in the city or on the north side was more expensive. Words of warning from those who have stayed here: If you are planning to travel into the city avoid the rush hour traffic on I-75. It means you need to leave before 7am or wait until after 9am.
