The 93-room Holiday Inn Express Macon is located off Interstate 75 between downtown Macon and the Northside business and entertainment districts and provides quality accommodation at an affordable price for both vacationer and business traveler. Items included with the room rate at this six-story hotel are a hot breakfast buffet, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, in-room coffee and parking. There is one meeting room available for business or social functions that can accommodate 25 guests. The hotel is close to the Macon Centerplex and Mercer University. Other area attractions and landmarks include the Macon Conference Center, John Drew Smith Tennis Center, Wesleyan College, the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame, the Georgia Music Hall of Fame, the Ocmulgee National Indian Monument, the Harriet Tubman Museum and shopping at the Colonial Mall of Macon.

Many travelers passing through Macon said this Holiday Inn Express was a great place to stay. The rooms here are comfortable, well-equipped and spotlessly clean. The youthful team of employees – several of them from nearby Mercer University – does a great job helping newcomers to town to feel at home. Words of advice: If you are traveling through Macon – north or south – the ring road Interstate 475 is the quickest route. This hotel is located off I-75 which is a little longer and can be congested. Several guests said it was worth taking the diversion for the benefit of enjoying this property.
