The 78 all-suites Residence Inn by Marriott Macon is located close to I-75 and provides spacious accommodation for the business traveler and families on vacation. The pet-friendly, three-story hotel has one conference room available for business or social meetings. Items included with the room rate are a hot breakfast buffet, evening socials on Mondays through Thursdays, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, parking and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. Area attractions and landmarks include four golf courses, Mercer University, Wesleyan College, the historic area of downtown Macon, the Ocmulgee National Monument and the Georgia Music Hall of Fame and the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame. The non-smoking hotel is 68 miles south of Atlantas Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

There are one and two-bedroom suites and all have a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator with icemaker, conventional and microwave oven, dishwasher, toaster, stove and silverware and dishes. Most former visitors to this inn were very happy with the rates, location and the crew of employees who were attentive and friendly. Those who were touring the area and using the hotel as a base, said the grocery service operated by the hotel worked well and they were able spend more time sightseeing rather than in a supermarket. Many clients appreciated the midweek socials with beer, wine and a light meal. Many clients will use this inn on future visits to central Georgia and had no hesitation in recommending the property to others.
