It was quite good. Room was very clean. Bathtub faucet was a bit leaky and the TV needs to warm up to get a clear pick. The remote batteries are being held in by duck tupelo but other than those infrastructure things the room was excellent. Linens, carpet, furniture were all well taken care of. Room 226.

Overall, not too bad. Just the smoke smell and dampness of the floor and furniture were less than desirable. The toilet seat was cracked and old looking and the bathroom window did not lock! (Room 223) I rigged the window, but the overall area did not leave us too fearful. We enjoyed the area of the hotel and the breakfast was great!

The breakfast was top notch, it was great. The amount of space in the hotel room was great too!

The room was smoky smelling and there was a continual feel of moisture/dampness on the floor and furniture.

This is an older hotel but several guests said it was well maintained and they have a very enjoyable time at this Quality Inn. Unfortunately there were other clients who were no so happy complaining about poor housekeeping and the need for updating. We still allow the property a YES rating because thee were visitors who found the employees here to be friendly and efficient. The rates are reasonable for Jekyll Island and the location is good, just a short walk to the beach.
