Excellent staff! Very friendly, including the owner. Nice rooms, great beds.

The staff and the room.

No extra pillows, The breakfast bar was lacking. No coffee at night in lobby, no cookies as promised, also no eggs or bacon or waffles as promised.

The 76-room Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites Hiawassee is located in the North Georgia Mountains near the growing towns of Blairsville, Young Harris and Hiawassee. The three-story inn is a favorite stopping spot for hikers exploring the Appalachian Trail. Well equipped for the family traveler the inn does have a business center and provides free high-speed Internet access in its rooms and public areas. Other items included with the room rate are a hot breakfast, parking, local telephone calls and a morning newspaper. The property is 125 miles north of Atlanta and is close to Lake Chatuge, the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds and the Brasstown Bald. There is a meeting room that can handle up to 30 guests for business or social events.
