The hotel was nice. I have stayed there before. I miss the fact that they felt a need to give up the wireless network. However, they still advertise it in the rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Easy to get to.

The 63-room Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites Decatur I-20 East is a short drive from downtown Atlanta and provides quality accommodation equally suited to the business or pleasure traveler. Items included with the room rate at this two-story hotel are a hot breakfast buffet, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, in-room coffee, a morning newspaper and parking. The property is half-a-mile from the Indian Creek MARTA rapid rail station enabling easy access to downtown, the northern suburbs and Atlantas Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. Area landmarks and attractions include Agnes Scott College, Zoo Atlanta, tours of CNN Center, dining and shopping at Underground Atlanta, Turner Field home of the Atlanta Braves baseball team, the Georgia World Congress Center and shopping at the Stone Crest Mall which is four miles from the property.

Complaints that the accommodation and public areas were looking a little tired and dated have stopped now that this Decatur hotel has been renovated and an elevator added. There were still minor moans that this Holiday Inn Express was overpriced and not in the best of neighborhoods. Despite this many guests were happy with their stay and said they would return to this property on future visits to this Atlanta suburb.
