I stayed here for a quick business trip. I didn't know the area well. This place was located in a safe and good location. There weren't many restaurants, but there was a grocery store right next door. The hotel was clean and a great facility. I highly recommend staying here.

Excellent accommodations and location. Friendly and helpful staff.

Not many restaurants in the area. There is a Mexican restaurant, a Japanese restaurant, and two other Chinese places.

The hotel it self is in a good location. However, when we visited, it was going through renovations. We had to go though a side entrance, which was filled with workers and their equipment. There were ladders in the front lobby and extension cords in the way. The hallways were also cluttered with workers. The room itself was a good side and was pleasantly decorated. The bed was very comfortable, and surprisingly had enough pillows.

I like the decorations and cleanliness of the room.

I did not like the fact that renovations were going on, so of which could have been dangerous.

This is an excellent hotel and the staff here is extremely courteous, always smiling and eager to help. That is the opinion of most visitors to Decatur who have stayed at this Holiday Inn Express. The rates are reasonable and the rooms are extremely big and comfortable. There were good comments about the laundry service and the indoor swimming pool. Most clients said they would return here on future visits to this Atlanta suburb and had no problem recommending the property to fellow travelers.
