Pretty close to the highway, although they gave us a room facing the opposite way. Smelled clean in the halls; sometimes even the finer ones smell smoky or chlorine, or just old carpet. AC filter and vent area pretty clean.

Great snack area open 24 hours.

Little hard to locate.

Staying at the Calhoun, GA hotel of the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites offers convenience and affordable rooms. Just right off I-75, this North Georgia location is near Calhoun Elks Golf Course, Carters Lake, New Echota Historic Site and other major attractions in the area. This hotel is also nearby shopping outlets making it a great location for tourists. The Calhoun hotel also boasts amazing service, comfortable accommodations and topnotch amenities. Since it is a very small hotel, it is always packed during peak season. Travelers who would like to book one of its 63 rooms would have to book weeks or at least a month or two before.
