This was a clean, friendly holiday inn express. The breakfast buffet area was kept clean and the food was great - but a hot breakfast would be ideal. May I suggest the Malted Waffle bar?

The front desk staff was excellent! They helped us out tremendously!

The 65-room Holiday Inn Express Blairsville is in the North Georgia Mountains adjacent to Butternut Creek Golf Course and provides quality accommodation at an affordable price equally suited to the vacationer and the business traveler. Items included with the room rate at this two-story hotel are a hot breakfast buffet, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, in-room coffee and parking. Area landmarks and attractions include Brasstown Bald Mountain, Vogel State Park, Helton Creek Falls, fishing and boating on Lake Nottely, Lake Chatuge, the Appalachian Trail and the Chattahoochee National Forest. Families touring the North Georgia Mountains say this is a great place to stay. The rates are reasonable and the rooms spotlessly clean and well equipped. The hotel has installed an elevator which stopped complaints about the lack of one. Several guests said there was nothing fancy about this hotel but the great southern hospitality provided by the friendly team of employees made it a hotel that you would want to visit again. Most clients were impressed by the complimentary breakfast and said it made a good start to a day of exploring the scenic countryside.
