The 372-room Marriott Augusta Hotel and Suites ideally is located in the center of Augusta’s downtown business district and provides quality accommodation for both leisure and business traveler. The pet-friendly, 11-story property is set on the banks of the Savannah River and is close to the Augusta National golf course. Items included with the room rate are high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper and self-parking. The hotel has 10 meeting rooms for business or social events. The largest, the Oglethorpe Ballroom can accommodate 1,200 guests. This full-service, non-smoking hotel is also close to three other golf courses. Area landmarks and attractions include the Morris Museum of Art, the Augusta Botanical Gardens, the boyhood home of Woodrow Wilson, Phinizy Swamp Nature Park and Lake Thurmond.

All the guestrooms have a work desk with high-speed Internet access, cable television with movie and news channels, pay-per-view movies, in-room safe, alarm clock, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, bathrobes, separate shower and a bathtub with spray jets, hairdryer, and a two-line telephone with voicemail. The more expensive suites have a refrigerator, microwave oven, parlor area and flat-screen televisions.

The hotel has two swimming pools, one in the main tower and one in the suites tower. There are also two fitness centers. Augustino’s Italian eatery is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Room service operates from 6am until midnight. There are several restaurant nearby including Beanie’s At The River and the 1102 Bar and Grill. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes and information on area events and attractions. Other amenities include a full service business center, coin-operated laundry, an ATM, vending machines and an airline reservation desk.

From Augusta Airport (AGS) 10 miles: Turn right onto Doug Bernard Parkway. Turn right onto Gordon Highway. Turn left onto Walton Way and then turn right onto 5th Street. Proceed until Reynold's Street and turn left onto Reynold's Street. Turn right onto 10th Street where the hotel is located.
