This hotel is certainly a value for the price I paid.

Conveniently located.

Fitness room equipment was unserviced exceeded its service life. Did not work properly.

Very nice for the price, the rooms were a little old but well maintained, there were conveniences such as hair dryer, iron & ironing board, etc. One negative is TV had poor quality picture but that was the Cable Company's fault.

Beautiful lobby, restaurant & surroundings.

Bathroom had no fan.

Overall the hotel was fine. The rooms on poolside had nice views, but rooms on outer perimeter faced parking lot and had an unsafe feel for 3 females staying there. Our actual room was shabby but clean. The hotel lobby and dining area were impressive. Overall it was a good place to stay for such a low price; but we will not stay there again.

Lobby/pool/dining facilities were attractive.

Room had outside entrance/room unattractive.

The pet-friendly Holiday Inn Augusta-Gordon Highway is the closest full service hotel to the main gate of Fort Gordon Army Base and comprises 150 reasonably priced rooms equally suited to the business traveler or vacationer. Items included with the room rate at this two-story, non-smoking hotel are a full breakfast buffet, an airport shuttle, high-speed Internet access, local telephone calls, a morning newspaper, in-room coffee and parking. There are five meeting rooms available for business or social functions. The largest can accommodate 150 guests. Focal point of the property is a veranda overlooking the swimming pool and courtyard area. Area landmarks and attractions include several golf course including the world famous Augusta National Golf Club, the Adventure Crossing theme park, Columbia County Amphitheater, the Ezekiel Harris House, Fort Discovery National Science Center, the Laurel and Hardy Museum, Morris Museum of Art, Woodrow Wilson Home and shopping at the Augusta Mall.

Several guests who stayed at this hotel were disappointed with their stay and said it was not up to normal Holiday Inn standards. We give it the YES rating because the rates are low and it is one of the few Holiday Inns that includes a full breakfast with all of its rates. Many appreciated the nicely landscaped grounds and said the employees tried hard to provide helpful and efficient service. The property is in a good location, close to the Augusta Mall, and attempts have been made to upgrade this older hotel. It you are looking for top quality Holiday Inns there are others in the area but if price is a consideration this may well suit you.
