The La Quinta Inn Augusta, situated on Washington Rd just off of I-20, was a good value overall. Washington Road is a major thoroughfare in Augusta making this hotel close to almost everything. There is a brand new Starbucks drive thru right in front of the hotel and a Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robbins drive thru next to it as well. The rooms appear to have been upgraded or remodeled and they compare favorably to Holiday Inn or Comfort Inn. Probably the best feature is the wireless internet access. It makes staying in a hotel much more convenient.
The wireless internet access was great and very helpful.
No refrigerator or microwave in room

I really like this hotel; they were even painting the outsides, earth tone. Location to everything ( don't relocate it) I will be back to this same " romantic" hotel (except for the excess dirty shower wall" grouts") a great breakfast, staff, location and price.
Staff willing to help at all cost.
The shower walls, mildew in grout of shower walls. The next door room the same room.

A comfortable place to stay. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Experience would have been excellent if the room had a fridge and microwave.
Location and convenience to local restaurants.

This hotel gets critical reviews about the need for better housekeeping and small bathrooms. However many guests had an enjoyable stay at this La Quinta and as a result we still award the property the YES rating. Many clients liked the location, close to restaurants and said they cheerful crew of employees was both friendly and efficient. The rates were attractive and lower than some of the nearby competing hotels and several travelers said they would use this hotel again on future visits to Augusta.
