The 255-room Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center is located in the new Technology Square complex that covers three blocks in the heart of midtown Atlanta. The hotel, opened in 2003, is connected to the Georgia Institute of Technology’s new Global Learning and Conference Center and overlooks an impressive fully landscaped courtyard. The non-smoking hotel has 21,000 square feet of meeting space, a 7,300-foot ballroom and conference dining facilities for over 300 guests. The hotel is close to numerous downtown attractions including the world’s largest aquarium, the Georgia Aquarium, the Georgia World Congress Center and Centennial Olympic Park.

Many former guests to this conference center said they enjoyed true southern hospitality during their stay and said they would return to this hotel on future visits to Atlanta. Those who attended conferences said they were handled in a very professional manner and the facilities were state-of-the art and among the best they had enjoyed anywhere. Georgia Tech Hotel & Conference Center Accommodations

All the rooms have a laptop-ready work desk, with hard-wired and wireless Internet connections. The marble bathrooms come with terrycloth robes and a hairdryer. Other amenities include a flat screen television with cable channels, an IDD telephone with speakerphone and voicemail, tea and coffee making facilities and an iron and ironing board.

The hotel’s dining room is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and features a show kitchen. Lighter fare, and a full range of beverages, is available in the Club Lounge, which is open from 3pm until midnight. The hotel has a 45-foot indoor lap pool, state-of-the-art fitness center and an elaborate business center. The24-hour front desk has information the airport shuttle that stops at the hotel and details about local events and attractions.

From Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL): Take I-85/I-75 North towards downtown. Take the 10th/14th street exit (#250). Continue straight for 0.1 mile on Williams Street and turn right onto 10th Street. Travel 0.1 mile and turn right onto Spring Street. The Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center is 0.4 mile on the right.
