Nice place but I won't go back due to the reasons outlined below.
Hotel was very nice, very contemporary, room and the staff was nice.
Someone in the room beside us had their music very loud at 11:00 p.m. and we had to call the desk to complain. Our neighbors turned the music down but did not turn it off. The couple with which we traveled experienced the same problem only greatly magnified. Apparently a bachelorette party was being held in the room next door to them and the noise did not stop all night--loud music and screaming and laughing, hanging off the balcony. Desk had to be called 5 times and staff would not exchange their room due to the late hour. Also lots of noise from the large number of motorcycle riders that were staying at the hotel. I picked this hotel because of its advertised "pet-friendly" policy which reads "We think the furry friend you love should travel in luxury with you. That's why at W. Atlanta, Pets Are Welcome". Not a hint of an extra charge--but when I checked in, I was told there's a $100 non-refundable deposit and another $25.00 non-refundable due to the pet. Not happy.

The bed and condiments.
Didn't have channel 36 couldn't watch football game.

I went to this hotel because I attended a conference there. Thier friendly staff ,and van driverrs that took you to the Mall (which was very close,and the martra train... were very prompt, friendly,I did not need to rent a car. I fell in love with Atlanta,I want to move there one day.
I was upgraded to a 900 sq foot suite without requesting...for very little additional money.
I was compleetely happy.

All the rooms have a work desk with high-speed Internet access and a spacious bathroom with terry robes, rain forest shower and hairdryer. Other amenities include a 35-inch plasma television, cable movie channels, DVD and CD player, refrigerator, minibar, coffee and tea making facilities and a cordless telephone with voicemail. Room service is available around the clock.

The hotel’s main restaurant, Savu, is open throughout the day offering Asian cuisine and the W Café has lighter fare and is open from 7am until 11pm. Former visitors to this property loved the stylish and modern approach of this W Hotel, the second one to be opened. There were compliments for everything from rooms, facilities, food and friendly staff. Many thought the W stood for wonderful or just WOW! Only complaint was that it is expensive to stay here. However, several guests admitted that if you want the best you have to pay for it.
