Hampton Inn and Suites Atlanta Downtown in Atlanta Georgia

Great surprise. Considering the price, I expected a very modest accomodation. The hotel is very pleasant, people at the desk are very nice, competent and efficient. My room was big, modern, very elegant furniture. Big value. PS: complimentary high speed internet (usually 10 usd/day), complimentary breakfast simple but excellent.

Hotel sits on the corner of a very busy downtown intersection. Our first hour there, we watched two police take down a man outside. You must have a security card to enter the building after 11 p.m. We honestly felt safer in NYC than we did here. But the free breakfast was nice.
