Could have been better - posted on 03/03/2007
The very nature of the place will continue to run down if steps are not made to keep it as is or even improve. A very good local, but poor management.

AC/Heat did not work in either room we had. One room had ants and hotel had no bug spray. Hotel clerk was helpful and accommodating.

This place needs a major overhaul. It was not clean and I was too afraid to even put my head on the pillow--I did without. I would expect better of a 2 star motel--this is a 1 star motel and that is being generous! One night here convinced me not to try econolodge again!
horrible, don't stay here - posted on 11/09/2006
This hotel was dirty, reeked like smoke, unihabitably, mold and dirt on the heater, TV, bathroom, no bed options besides 1 doube, only smoking rooms available with cigarette burns on the tops of the TV, horrible customer service from the front desk. DON"T STAY HERE, ITS NOT WORTH THE SAVINGS, because you'll have to go to a different hotel anyways once you see it!

Exterior area very dirty. Ants in room. Coffee pot didn't work. Shower head not securely attached to wall. Other hotel guests very noisy. Couldn't adjust color on TV -- pink with poor contrast.

For people on a budget and just need a place to sleep while passing through Atlanta, not bad. But you obviously don't get room and comfort paying low prices. I wouldn't stay here for more than one night.

The staff was friendly, the internet access and the breakfast was good. My room was clean. The overall impression is that the hotel needs a complete renovation. It is showing its age and has a lot of wear and tear showing.
not the place to be - posted on 08/07/2006
The room was very spraten. the ac was lecking, The hotel was not very restful, the noise was unrelenting. I have stay in other econo lodges but this is by far the worst hotel I have stayed in. I would not recommend this place.

I choose this hotel because of it's location to the Airport and the cost, but it was bad. Worn carpet, paint peeling, cords for phone and TV looked like a hazard fire waiting to happen. It was a bad choice on my part and will never stay there again
Fair stay considering the cost - posted on 01/07/2006
This hotel is a fair value. If you would be paying more than $40 a night, you would expect more, however, the cost is right in line with the service.
Not so good - posted on 11/01/2005
This hotel has various drawbacks. Here are some of them that plagued my stay: Homeless people loitering & knocking on hotel room doors all day and night. Hookers loitering & calling hotel room phone numbers asking for money; roach infestation, dirty carpet and bad room service. Here are some of the good things about my stay: Pleasant & helpful day shift hotel desk attendant. Clean parking lot & outside area. Nice amount of cable channels on tv; big bed, nice phone service, good continental breakfast, good prices for room, quick check in/out service and good airport convenience shuttle.

Killed 7 roaches in a matter of a couple of minutes. It was probably my worst experience ever in a hotel.

room was dirty, noisy (people lurking in parking lot, elevator and balconies 'til all hours of night. Electric devices in room made periodic loud hum making sleep a forgotten dream. Slow running sinks and showers. House keeping very slow and to top it off - carrying an attitude!! Never again! How they stay in bizz is a miracle!

Well, it's cheap! - posted on 07/05/2005
Rooms were as clean as an aging hotel could be. Non-smoking rooms reeked of cigarettes, probably through the vents or bathrooms. Fairly noisy, not a very secure parking lot, and I got hustled by a guy posing as a bellhop!
YUCK - posted on 05/17/2005
The room smelled , the toilet had urine, the pillowcase had lipstick stains. I was charged 3 times for one night stay. However, the manager was kind enough to promise a credit. If it had not been for the one night stay I would have gathered my things and ran!

The air conditioning in the rooms worked well. The rest left MUCH to be desired
My experience... - posted on 01/18/2005
This was the worst room I have ever stayed in. The A/C and heater remote was taped together with black electrical tape. The bathroom door would not close. The TV did work, but the remote did not. I rfequested a wake up call but never received one. I almost missed my flight. I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!

Hotels by City did not reserve my reservation. When I went to the hotel, there was no reservation in my name, and the hotel did not have any available rooms. I am very disapointed in Hotels by City.
