The 107-room Days Inn Atlanta Northwest is a two story motel located in a residential area three miles north of downtown Atlanta. The pet-friendly property caters for the budget minded business and leisure traveler. The reasonable room rates include high speed Internet access, coffee in the lobby, parking and a copy of USA Today. The close access to I-75 enables easy access to downtown, Hartsfield International Airport and all the attractions of Atlanta and its suburbs. The historic Fox Theater, Georgia Dome, home of the Atlanta Falcons, Georgia Tech and the Georgia Aquarium are each two miles from the inn. There is one meeting room on the property for small business or social functions.

There have been some changes made here. Recent visitors to this hotel say it offers good accommodation at a very affordable price. And the staff got good reviews for being efficient and polite. In the past the ratings for this property were very negative. Rooms come with a choice of king, double or queen size beds. All the accommodation is air conditioned and the amenities include high speed Internet access, cable television with movie channels, hairdryer, alarm clock, IDD telephone and a coffee maker. Microwave ovens and refrigerators are available in some rooms.

There is a Waffle House adjoining the property which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are other eating spots and lounges within a short drive. Atlanta’s famed Varsity Drive-in Restaurant is two miles away. Be sure and try their fried peach pies. The 24-hour reception area can help plan sightseeing tours. Head north then west to visit Stone Mountain Park with its famed rock carving. Upmarket shopping is available to the north at the Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza shopping malls.
