The 182-room Courtyard by Marriott Cumberland Center is a full service hotel catering to the business and leisure traveler. The non-smoking property is adjacent to the Cumberland Mall and 10 miles from downtown Atlanta. Items included in the room rate are local phone calls, high speed Internet access and coffee in the lobby. The hotel is close to Atlanta’s expressways enabling a 15-minute drive to downtown Atlanta or 30 minutes to the city’s international airport. The property is close to the Cobb Galleria Convention Center, Galleria Mall and Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center. Nearby restaurants include PF Changs, Maggianos and the Cheesecake Factory. There are four meeting rooms on the property with a total of 3,000 square feet for business or social functions.

Lots of folk like this property because there are lots of things to do nearby with a wide range of shopping and entertainment areas within walking distance. The friendly and helpful staff was appreciated by many who have stayed here. Earlier complaints about the rooms looking a little tired stopped when Marriott renovated the entire property. Courtyard by Marriott Cumberland Center Accommodations

All the rooms have a work desk with high speed Internet access. Other amenities include cable television with movie channels and pay-per-view movies, alarm clock, microwave oven, hairdryer, two-line telephone with voice mail and speaker phone, iron and ironing board and coffee and tea making facilities. Room service is available from 5.30pm until 10pm.

The hotel’s Courtyard Café for serves a breakfast buffet in the morning and a range of American entrees for dinner. The hotel has an indoor swimming pool, whirlpool and exercise center. There are several golf courses nearby. There is a business center on-site and the 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes and also information on area restaurants that will deliver to the hotel. Coffee is always available in the lobby where you can find information on area attractions.

From Atlanta-Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL) 25 miles: Take I-75 North to Exit 258 for Cumberland Boulevard and turn left off exit. Turn right onto Cobb Parkway (at Copelands) then left onto Akers Mill Road (by Barnes & Noble). Cross Cumberland Boulevard and the hotel will be on the right.
