Overall I was pleased with my stay at the Westin. It was in a great location (actually connected) to the Merchandise Mart. It was also convenient to getting back to I-85. Many good restaurants were located within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. When we did have a problem with the air conditioning in our room, the problem was handled quickly and to our satisfaction. The rooms were a little smaller than previous 4-star hotels I?ve stayed in but the bed and furnishings were quite comfortable. I would stay here again.
This hotel was extremely convenient to the Merchandise Mart.
The room and the bathroom were smaller than other comparable hotels.

This is the hotel my wife and I stayed in the first night we were married, and we return on our anniversary each year after a romantic night on the town. It's the best hotel in downtown Atlanta, with amazing views of the city and features top notch bars and a restaurant on top of the hotel that is a treat for locals and tourists alike.
The 1.068-room Westin Peachtree Plaza Atlanta is a 73-story downtown landmark catering to the upmarket business and leisure traveler. The revolving Sun Dial Restaurant, a gourmet dining experience, tops the non-smoking, dog-friendly property. The hotel is connected to AmericasMart and is steps away from the CNN Center, which feature studio tours, the Georgia Aquarium and the Georgia World Congress Center. Executives enjoy expanded business services and families have the benefit of a kids club with a full range of activities. The hotel has 80,000 square-feet of space for conventions, exhibitions and social functions.

Does HotelsByCity recommend this hotel?
An incredible hotel with incredible views right in downtown Atlanta: That is what former guests had to say about this huge hotel. Sadly, many reported that some of the rooms are now starting to look a little tired and worn. However, it takes a while to get 1.068 rooms upgraded. This is a non-smoking property and smokers beware: Any guest who smokes in their room will be charged a $200 cleaning fee. Read our customer reviews below
