The 131-room Hampton Inn Atlanta Perimeter Center provides quality accommodation at an economical price that is equally suited to families on vacation or the business traveler. The eight-story property – yes, there are elevators – is located in the Perimeter Mall area north of downtown Atlanta. Items include with the room rate at this pet-friendly inn are high-speed Internet access, a hot breakfast buffet, local telephone calls and parking. The property has easy access to Atlanta’s expressway network. It is a short walk to a MARTA (Atlanta’s rapid rail system) station, which serves the city, its airport and suburbs.

Reasonable prices and true southern hospitality were the items that former visitors to this inn enjoyed. Many were impressed that the front desk called guests a few minutes after they had settled into their rooms to make sure everything was as they had expected. Hampton Inn Atlanta Perimeter Center Accommodations

All the rooms have a work desk with high-speed Internet access, refrigerator and the choice of one king size bed or two double beds. Other amenities include cable television with movie channels, and pay-per-view movies and video games, telephone with speakerphone, easy to set alarm clock, coffee and tea making facilities, iron and ironing board and a modern bathroom with hairdryer.

The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool and a well-equipped fitness center. Breakfast is the only meal available here but there are several restaurants nearby including the Chequers Bar and Grill, Longhorn Steakhouse, Maggiano's, Grady's American Grill and Joey D's. There is a coin-operated laundry on-site. The 24-hour front desk has safe deposit boxes and information on the area attractions. The inn has meeting rooms for social and business functions that can handle up to 60 people.

From GA400 South: Take Exit 5. Turn right onto Abernathy Road. At first light, turn left onto Barfield Road. Barfield dead-ends. Turn left onto Hammond Drive and the hotel is on your immediate right. From I-285 East: Take exit 25 Roswell Road. Turn left on to Roswell Road go up 3 traffic lights. Turn right on the Hammond Drive. Follow Hammond Drive until you get to the hotel on the right. From I-285 West: Take exit 28 Peachtree/Dunwoody. Turn right on Peachtree/Dunwoody to the second red light then turn left onto Hammond Drive. After the 3rd red light the hotel will be on the left. From GA400 North: Take Exit 5B. Stay right onto Abernathy Road. At second light, turn left onto Barfield Road. Barfield dead-ends. Turn left onto Hammond Drive. Turn left onto Hammond Drive and the hotel is on your immediate right.
